Pizza Recipes for Kids
Pizza is a favorite meal for everyone! Pizza Recipes for Kids start at the Classic Homemade Pizza made the easy way all the way to Bubble Pizza, with a lot of great pizzas in between. These pizza recipes are great for daycare or for fixing your own family a meal. |
This is a fast and easy way to make a homemade pizza. You can top it any way you enjoy a delivered pizza.
|
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a jelly roll pan with cooking spray. Press or roll the pizza crust to cover the pan. If edges get too thick, cut off and dispose. Bake in oven for 5 - 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately spread sauce over the crust in an even layer. Sprinkle on the cheese.
You can stop here for a cheese pizza or add your own toppings at this point. Return to oven and bake 12 - 15 minutes more.
The secret behind the pizza roll is to limit the amount of ingredients you put on. My normal practice is to go overboard with generosity of the amount of ingredients I put into a recipe. With the pizza roll, you want to keep layers thin to make the roll easy to handle for the kids.

Roll the pizza crust out to an 11" x 17" rectangle on a floured surface. Spread on a thin layer of pizza sauce. Top with pepperoni slice, cooked sausage or any other topping of your choice to cover the pizza. Sprinkle with the cheese.
From the short end of the pizza, roll into a large roll. Seal the edges of the roll by pinching the dough. Place seal side down on a greased pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter. Brush over the baked pizza roll. Let cool for 10 minutes. Cut into 1" slices and serve.
This pizza muffins can be baked in an oven or in a toaster oven. They're easy to assemble, but a little harder for kids to eat because of the muffin. They taste great, but be sure not to overcook them.
|
Split the english muffin in half. Spread with a thin layer of pizza sauce. Top with the optional ingredients and then the cheese. Place in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 - 12 minutes or place in a toaster oven for 5 minutes.
This recipe is an ideal meal to have your kids help out with. And when kids help make their own meal, it always tastes better!

Roll the individual biscuits into 5" circles. Put in a dab of pizza sauce. Pile with pepperoni or sauce and cheese. Pull the edges of the biscuit up and pinch together to form a bundle. Place seam side down into an 8" x 8" pan.
Brush the bundles with melted butter. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 18 - 20 minutes.

This is a favorite of my daycare kids and of my own teenage kids!

Brown the ground beef and drain the grease. Stir in the pizza sauce.
Open the tube of biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Place in a greased 13" x 9" pan. Top with meat mixture. Bake uncovered in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 - 7 minutes more or until the cheese is melted.
Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut and serve.
I originally made this pizza for Halloween. The picture shown here is the Jack-o-lantern pizza. But I realized it would be super easy to make the pizza again and leave the stem off so now it's a Smiley Face Pizza. That works any day of the year!

Roll the dough out onto a round pizza pan.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce. Top with shredded cheese. Arrange the pepperonis according to the picture. Top the "eyes" with 2 black olive slices.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 18 minutes or until golden brown.
